Lauren Blanchard

Personal Training Manager

Lauren’s journey as a trainer started as a personal struggle. She grew up as an athlete but she was always overweight.  After she had her son in 2005, she found it very easy to lose the baby weight (due to unhealthy stress) but quickly gained it back plus more weight when she lost control of her diet and was no longer active in sports. She got up to 250 pounds and could not comfortably play with her son and enjoy their active time together.

In May 2012, she began her journey not only to lose weight, but to engage in a healthy lifestyle and keep it that way, forever. After a 75 pound weight loss, she discovered that health was her passion in life. The empowerment she felt after overcoming something so big and so detrimental to her health was amazing and it’s a feeling she wants everyone to experience. “It’s not about the number on the scale anymore. It’s about how I feel and the difference proper nutrition and exercise make on my everyday life”.

She obtained her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from California University of Pennsylvania while also receiving her NASM personal training certification. She will complete her master’s degree in nutrition in May 2021 to help further benefit her clients and provide them with even more tools to meet their goals. Lauren strives to educate the community about preventative health through proper diet and exercise while still enjoying life! No more fad diets. No more cliché weight-loss programs.

Jake McDowell

Jake served the city of Peoria as an EMT for 5 years. Unfortunately during that time, he struggled with living a healthy and active lifestyle. There came a day when his health got out of control and he decided to make a change. Jake took a chance and left the emergency medical services path, he was on to venture on a healthier and happier lifestyle. Through hard work, proper food choices and physical activity, Jake ended up losing 130 pounds and became inspired to become a personal trainer. He studied courses through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and passed with flying colors to become a certified personal trainer. “Helping others achieve and feel what I have experienced is the most rewarding feeling in the world.” Jake can help you achieve your goals through many different modalities including weights, circuit training, and even specializes in boxing for health!

Stevie Hawkins

Stevie Hawkins believes one of the greatest feelings in the world is to help others achieve their goals. She has spent the last 4 years growing her passion for health and fitness. She focuses on methods that will help you become more mobile, flexible and stable in order to prevent injuries and promote longevity, while steadily progressing to reach your fitness goals. She is sure that everyone can do their best at whatever level they may be and that exercise can actually be a very fun and positive experience. Stevie’s philosophy is that fitness is FUN! and enjoys her role as a personal trainer: motivating, teaching and make training fun. Her advice: don’t train for any special events, train for life. Stevie specializes in women’s health and fitness, boxing and weight loss. She is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and has her Associates in Art.


Our personal trainers are available Monday through Friday 6:00AM-8:00PM and weekends by appointment.
We offer member and nonmember personal training, available in 30 minute, 45 and 60 minute sessions. We also offer Group Training for groups up to 5 clients at a time.
