It’s not unusual to feel shy or self-conscious when it comes to working out in front of others.  However, the community at River City Athletic Club is just that – a community.  We are in this together and we cheer each other on… no judgment… just encouragement!
There are several benefits to group fitness including:
  • Group motivation creates powerful energy
    When you have a group of people around you, it creates inspiration to keep you going!

  • Achieve correct form with our group instructors
    We don’t want anyone in our fitness community to injure themselves.  Our staff is trained to make sure you exercise with proper form to decrease any likelihood of injury. 

  • Mix it up with different types of classes
    Working out on your own can get mundane and it can be difficult to think of new ways to work out.  Not with our group classes which provide plenty of variety to keep you engaged and to keep your body guessing!

  • Getting out of the house and working with a group is a commitment
    When people are counting on you to show up… you usually do!  It’s easy to casually forget to workout at home. When you join a group fitness class, there’s no quitting until it’s over!
