Josh Kiefer Assistant Tennis Professional

I began playing tennis at age 8 in the driveway with my brother.  I played 4 years in high school and even though my last match ended in a loss I finished with a 79-4 record; which was good enough to put me #1 all time.  I figured I would be done with competitive tennis, but only a few months later I was playing tennis at Bethel College (IN).  While at Bethel I met my wife since 2011, Lindsay, made several lifelong friends, and won the same number of matches as high school! My awards have long since been stored away in boxes, but I hope I can instill a desire to win at tennis and life with all my students.  One area I focus on teaching the most is mental toughness and strategy.  I have been at River city since October 2016 and have a dog named Roddick.
