The gymnastics staff at River City is committed to providing the best training in Central Illinois in both our team and recreational programs. We will provide the best opportunity for your children to have fun and learn gymnastic skills.
Brandon began his professional career at age 12, when he was selected to represent New Zealand on the national team. Moving up the ranks, Brandon won many levels at the New Zealand nationals as well as internationally in Australia. He competed at the Pacific Rim Championships and was named to the senior national team. At age 18, he was the youngest gymnast to be selected to compete on the New Zealand team at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India. Brandon went on to compete in the 2010 World Championships in the Netherlands. In 2011, he accepted a scholarship to join the Division 1 NCAA men’s gymnastics team at the University of Iowa. Along with his college gymnastics career, he also competed at the World University Games in Russia in 2013 and the World Championships in China in 2014.
Gabby Brown is a licensed clinical social worker with her master’s degree in social work. She has also coached gymnastics in Michigan and Florida for many years, ranging from the preschool level through high school and competitive team. She has extensive experience choreographing floor and beam routines. Gabby is excited to be back in the gym and to be able to share her love of the sport with the River City Gymnastics students!
